EFAA Workday, Debrief

Hey Everyone,
Our workday at EFAA on Saturday was a huge success! We got a tonne done including painting, fixing cabinets, caulking baths and windows, and some other odd-jobs! Great work and a huge thanks for all of the guys and girls that came out to help! I've got pictures up on the website at www.boulder297.org, so check em' out!

Dan from EFAA sent this for me to distribute amongst the volunteers:

Please pass this onto all the volunteers who came and helped out on Saturday. It was a great success for us as well as the shelter clients. All the projects you worked on were done really well. The amount of work we were able to do in 4 hours would have taken Caleb and our resident manager MUCH more time and resources to complete.

Thanks again for helping make a difference for EFAA as well as the low-income population in Boulder County. We will be in touch for planning the next volunteer project.
We'll be having another workday sometime soon installing those doors that didn't come in, so stay posted and I'll let ya'll know as soon as I know whats up.

EFAA Workday, Sat, Feb 16th

Hey all!

We'll be having our first big workday this Saturday at 10 AM. The project site is in LaFayette, near Baseline and N. Carr. We'll be carpooling there, and if you want to be a part of that, meet at 9:30 AM at the Table Mesa Park and Ride. The plan is to work till around 2 and then peace out.

Here's what we plan on doing:
  • Painting
  • Caulking showers and windows
  • Cleaning baseboards and radiant heaters
  • Organizing some of the storage areas
  • Hanging curtians
  • Fixing Cabinets
Lunch will be provided by EFAA, but if you dont like hotdogs you should bring something else.
